This 3rd Phase of the master plan redevelopment consists of 2 new buildings (B1 & D1). The project is being delivered using Infrastructure Ontario’s Alternative Financing and Procurement model as a Design Build Finance Maintain (DBFM). ENGIE MultiTech will be delivering all sheet metal construction, while ENGIE Services will be providing hard and soft FM services, energy management and lifecycle for the 32-year operational term.
B1 will consist of 8 levels above grade, with a roof top mechanical penthouse and 1 level below grade, housing public-oriented functions such as some retail, a library and education/conference facilities, clinical study/research facilities, a clinical pharmacy and inpatient (110 beds) and ambulatory clinical services. D1 will consist of 7 levels above grade, with a roof top mechanical penthouse and 1 level below grade, housing retail, the Emergency Department, and inpatient (125 beds), ambulatory services, various support spaces and infrastructure services.
