The CN Tower houses TV, FM and Internet broadcasting, communication systems for Fire, Police, Ambulance and many private facilities and organizations. Defining the Toronto skyline, the CN Tower is Canada’s most recognizable and celebrated structure. Since its construction in 1976 the 553.33m tall tower has defined the Toronto skyline and been one of the City of Toronto’s most popular tourism attractions. CN Tower is also an internationally renowned architectural triumph and modern engineering wonder. In 1995, the CN Tower was classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Scope of Work
PCL contracted to install new glass floor on the 3rd floor. ENGIE MultiTech is the mechanical subcontractor on project. Scope of work includes, relocation of existing HVAC, installation of new duct diffusers, VAVs and electric duct heaters to accommodate new heating and cooling layout. Project will also include a full renovation of the washrooms and bar areas to include plumbing and bar fixtures.
